Parents are a very important part of their child's success in school. One of the ways parents help their children with their literacy development is reading to their children every day. I ask that parents participate in our book in a bag program. Books in the bag are books that we have read and discussed in small group time.
Please have your child read the book more than once to you. It is very important that your child point at the words as they read. Discuss the story as your child reads. Model reading the lines with expression and fluency. Then have your child try.
